Though she still struggles with anxiety, it's by God's infinite grace that Samantha can consider herself a victor, not a victim.

her story

Samantha was diagnosed with an eating disorder when she was seventeen years old. Though unclear at the time, anxiety played a large role. A few years later, Samantha "got better." But she never did the heart work.

And so it was only a matter of time until the beast lurking in the corner came back for her. This time, it manifested itself into debilitating panic attacks and anxiety so severe it, at times, prevented her from working.

It was then that Samantha realized that the enemy had her right where he's always wanted her: paralyzed. Any work she hoped to do for the Kingdom was impossible in her current condition. So Samantha took drastic measures to find her way back to the sanctuary of peace found only in Jesus Christ. Her journey to healing is shared with readers in Fragile: 30 Days of Hope for the Anxious Heart. With the utmost transparency, Samantha details her every road block, every doubt, and every struggle in hopes of helping others walk through their own anxious valleysand into freedom.

I want others to know that living worried isn’t a life sentence. There’s freedom . . . it just takes some work to get there. Anxious hearts are not broken beyond repair; they are merely fragile souls that desperately need the tender, loving embrace of their Savior.
